The Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA) sets internationally recognised standards for K-12 computer science education. To ensure these standards are delivered with integrity and quality, CSTA Singapore appoints Accredited Education Partners (AEPs) - organisations that demonstrate excellence in teaching, curriculum delivery, and operational capability in computer science education

High-quality curriculum aligned with CSTA standards

Professional teacher development and training

Becoming a CSTA Singapore AEP (AEP) 

The Accredited Education Partner (AEP) designation recognises education organisations that have demonstrated:

1. Demonstrate Competency in Computer Science Education

Organisations must demonstrate strong capability in delivering high-quality computer science programmes across their local communities. This includes:

    • Proven teaching expertise
    • Effective curriculum delivery
    • Strong student outcomes

2. Commitment to Professional Growth

AEP candidates must show a clear commitment to:

  • Continuous educator training
  • Adoption of best practices in computer science education
  • Alignment with internationally recognised CS standards

3. Invitation by CSTA Singapore

Organisations that meet the competency criteria mau be invited by CSTA Singapore to begin the AEP accreditation process. This ensures the programme maintains a high standard of partner institutions.

4. Institutional Audit

Candidate organisations undergo an evaluation process across three operational areas:

5. Accreditation
