CSTA Singapore was established as your local computer science community. This chapter was built to connect you with other computer science teachers, provide professional development to help you improve your craft, and connect your local voice to the national computer science education community.

Chapter President - Mano Nair

With 30 years of experience under his belt, having held multiple senior positions in MNCs and SMEs,  Mano Nair has stepped out of retirement to guide the computer science teachers community to the next level. 

Having gotten involved as a computer science teacher in 2018, Mano Nair sees computer science as a mandatory gateway for any student who would like to succeed in the 21st century. 

Mano Nair looks to establish the association as the go-to for all computer science education (K12) related matters and eventually to establish Singapore as a quality hub for computer science (K12) education. 

Chapter Vice President- Jonathan Ho

Jonathan Ho is the founder of Graphite Academy, a Coding Enrichment company serving students ages 5-14 in Singapore. He has been teaching computer science since 2016. Throughout his years in teaching, Jonathan has taught thousands of students in approximately 80 local schools in Singapore. 

Jonathan Ho also leads one of the largest computer science teacher pools in Singapore providing professional development programmes for these teachers. To date, Jonathan has trained over hundred of computer science teachers in Singapore. 

As VP of CSTA-Singapore, Jonathan Ho is looking to elevate the standards of K12 Computer Science Education in Singapore for both the teachers and the students.

Chapter Vice President - Rajani Bhima Rao

Having spent most of her career in the IT sector, Rajani is no stranger to computer science. Rajani holds multiple certification in the IT sector, is a project management professional and also a certified scrum master. 

Rajani also runs an early education enrichment centre in Singapore teaching robotics and programming for young children.

Rajani understands the need for computer science education and has devoted her time to furthering this cause through CSTA-Singapore. She strongly believes that computer science education should be a mandatory subject for K12 students preparing them for a highly globalized and digitized world. 

Chapter Treasurer - Wenna Tay

Wenna Tay joined the computer science education field in Singapore in 2018 and have established a quality name for herself ever since. To date, Wenna has taught over thousands of students in Singapore and has conducted computer science classes in over 100 local schools in Singapore.

Wenna Tay is skilled in managing people and logistics and provides much needed operational experience to the association. 

As the Treasurer of CSTA-Singapore, Wenna Tay oversees all financial matters within the association. 
 

Chapter Secretary - Stuart Soh

Hailing from the healthcare industry for major medical device, diagnostic imaging, and pharmaceutical companies, Stuart spent 17 years as a professional overseeing business development for major pharmaceutical companies. 

Looking for worklife balance, Stuart transitioned into a professional in the training and consultancy region and got involved in the computer science field as an educator. 

Stuart trains both students and adults in the field of computer science and is a firm believer of computer science as a requirement for success in the 21st century.
